歡迎: 我是祝书强

About me: I am currrent an associate professor in School of Mathematics at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) in Sichuan, China.

I completed my BSc and MSc degrees from Sichuan University under the guidance of Professor Shiqing Zhang. I then did my Ph.D. at University of Victoria in BC, Canada, under the guidance of Professor Florin Diacu.

Prior to the position of SWUFE, I worked at University of Science and Technology of China (中国科学技术大学). I also has been a visiting scholar at ITAM, where I was fortunate to work with Professor Ernesto Pérez.

Research: My current research is centred around:

  1. Central configurations of the N-body problem, including that in the Euclidean space and space of constant curvature
  2. Expansive motions in the Newtonian N-body problem
  3. N-vortex problem
  4. Periodic motions for N-body problem in space of constant curvature

Teaching: I have taught Calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Real Analysis and Linear Algebra. This term, I am teaching Calculus II, and a research-oriented undergraduate course themed around the N-body problem.

Current students: Zhengyang Tang, Chao Dong

Past students: Anqi Qi

Grants:

  1. National Natural Science Foundation of China, Youth Science Fund Project, Grant No. 11801537, Central Configurations and Variational Minimal Solutions for the N-body Problem in Constant Curvature Spaces, 2019 to 2021, Principal Investigator.
  2. China Scholarship Council, Young Backbone Teachers’ Overseas Research Program, Grant No. [2018]10038, N-body Problem in Constant Curvature Spaces, 2019 to 2020, Principal Investigator.
